La Guijarrera
La Guijarrera is born surrounded by olives, in the region of Tomelloso (Ciudad Real). It is located in the area known as "Cabeza del Fraile", in the heart of La Mancha.
The origin of this olive-oil mill finds its origin in the curiosity for the oil world and love for the countryside of its founder, Pedro L. Onsurbe, combined with his aim of achieving a real natural oil juice of the best quality.
In the year 2001, the olive-oil mill creation is boosted by the owning of 22 hectares of land, where more than 4500 olives of the varieties of "Cornicabra", "Picual" and "Arbequina" live together. In this way, an approach to the medieval concept of "Pago" is pursed; working and producing in the same place. Its main purpose will be to offer a product with unique characteristics to the most expert customers from whatever corner of the world.
